  • All of those enclosures are absolutely stunning. So realistic, yet so clean. You can tell he cares about his animals so much. Such creative enclosures. As someone who builds custom home furniture (I also get asked to make enclosures for all different types of animals) these are absolutely amazing. I don't have any other way of describing them. 😲😍 Love all of it!

  • It is sad when people ask to bottle raise little mammals. They drink their mother’s milk for a reason, and people must respect the time they stay with their mother. Also the cherry heads were very nice, and all the enclosures very professionally made.

  • This was amazing! He needs his own channel! Would love to see him tag along with you to visit Fred’s place! Would really like to see him make content to promote proper care and keeping of animals bc he’s a great spokesman/advocate/keeper... even if he could only post videos occasionally, I think he would be a great source of knowledge and creativity when it comes to animals and husbandry and I’m sure people would love to follow along his daily chores and adventures with ALL the creatures he has. I’m sure he would be interesting to watch bc of all the species he has and how happy/healthy/loved they are. In addition, he’s a good model bc of how amazingly organized, thoughtfully planned, and well kept the habitats are. Would also be great to hear him address specific topics concerning all the various mammals and reptiles and also following along with what he does to keep them healthy and happy e.g. what changes go on at different times of year and how he raises young, what he feeds them etc... like many of the things you talk about in your videos. I think he’d be a great ambassador bc he’s so interesting and personable and has such a thoughtful approach and compassionate heart when it comes to being an animal keeper. It would help his mission and goals for the foundation to have a bigger/farther reach and especially help introduce his animal ambassadors to the greater public. Hope to see him on your channel again soon! Awesome video and AMAZING COLLECTION and as always, great EXPERT COMMENTARY!

  • Spotless enclosures to put any zoo to shame. I used to own and sell Patagonian Cavy aka Mara. Great animal to keep. Really goat like in their obnoxious spirit for mischief. If you ever get bit by one, you deserved it... they just don't bite. They are hands down my favorite animal to keep.

  • Kenan, We met and spoke at the Tampa show in regards to my high end turtles. But I am involved in high end rare fancy tail guppies, some that are not even on the market it and go for a lot of money. I do have my wholesale outlets on these already but since you are one of my favorite host, would you like to stock some of your ponds with my extra high end Guppies? You are best to keep one type per pond as feeders but also when kept pure, these guppies go from $35 to $100 a trio is why. It would help fund for income for your other animals.

  • The house i grew up in had several different spotted turtle colonies in the backyard and surrounding woods. That set up is exactly the stuff they live in. I wouldnt even consider re doing those ponds, seasonally the ponds would dry up completely. If you wanted to breed drying out the water source might kick them into that mood.

  • With all that above space in the first turtle enclosure, I'd put smaller gauge wire around it, and use it for breeding your native Green anoles-(Anolis carolinensis). With them free roaming in there i think the numbers would pop in there, adding some more taller and climbing plants, then you could find places where they don't have to complete with the invasive Brown anoles-(Anolis sagrei), to release groups of them every couple of years.

  • What is your honest opinion on releasing the captive raised turtles back into the wild? Will they be able to survive, hunt for themselves n be able to protect themselves whether it be by hiding with camouflage or defending itself through other ways? I don't have any experience and have never read or heard an honest professional opinion on the matter. If it is possible, then that is absolutely awesome n really respect that he is going to do so. Please let me know, I am really interested in your opinion. Thanks

  • You are right Kenan; Skunks are North and South American mammals in the family Mephitidae. While related to polecats and other members of the weasel family, skunks have as their closest Old World relatives the stink badgers. The animals are known for their ability to spray a liquid with a strong, unpleasant smell.
