Everything takes longer in the winter. Reasons.

  • When you'll need to use that thing, it'll be chaos on the side of the highway, other vehicles screaming past, and the jump pack will be snug and warm as a bug on your workbench.

    • Sounds about right. Theft is so bad in my area that I don't want to leave anything in my truck including my booster pack lol.

  • Get rid of that and get a bottle of Lagavulin 16... It's far more appropriate for you two knuckleheads. Probably under 100 a bottle even in Canadia. Can't be beat.

  • Would you be able to or have you taken apart a Milwaukee drill chuck, I have no idea how to do it without destroying it because one of the jaws fell out and the chuck itself is not covered by warranty and it would be great to fix it myself.

    Dane GoffDane Goff2 days ago
    • Thank you for the response, the jaw just fell out, the threds on it still look good but I will most likely just get a new one but of I can fix it that would be cool too. I was just curious how the chuck goes together and comes apart.

      Dane GoffDane GoffDay ago
    • You can buy a new chuck and bolt it on. If you broke a "jaw", it's fucked.

I don't think I can paste images here but I have concluded you look like Yogi Bear....because you're smarter than the average bear.

  • Last week when it was in the negatives temp wise in Texas I had to start my work truck but it was too cold. Managed to Jump start it with the same Makita battery and 2 pieces of 10 gauge ground wire. Best trick in the book when you have no other way to jump start.

  • Please don't take any offence to what I'm about to say, I love everything about you and your channel. Please, by da lard jesus christ fellas DO NOT endanger yourselves like that ever again! Essentially you's built layer by increasing layer a BIGGER bomb as you progressed. Right in your hands and more serious, in front of your faces. Vapours from that shitty truck lead acid battery (shrapnel mine acid to boot,) under a charge and cranking, bit of spark are enough to blow the fuck up that Interstate. Then top it with 10 18650 cells that are not worth a fuck inside that nightmare cluster fuck of a Makita shit battery pack/board and power rails piss poor built and designed. Set it a blaze not once, multiple times. Most DANGEROUS shit you've likely ever done in your life to this point. You boys built yourselves a bomb cake topped with 10 exploding road flare like candles, wicks a light and just stood there. I beg. If not for your fans here, please for your families sake don't endanger yourselves like that to make a video. Nobody wants to see ye get hurt, killed even. By'es, like come on now!

    Jay BudJay Bud5 days ago
    • Not just preaching, but from practice. Same boosting, cranking situation. As I leaned in over the fender, someone cranking had battery blow directly in my face and chest mostly, thank fuck. Loud as a shotgun blast, BOOM! Direct acid washed head to the knees. Acid was weak as shit and didn't get in my eyes much, dunked headlong full ice cold filed sink. Ears hurt more than anything rang long time afterwards. Destroyed my T shirt entirely and peppered holed my jeans after washed. Fellas in the shop got as bad a scare as I or more.

  • lmfao I'm surprised those thin gauge wires and gator clips didn't just POOF like det cord when y'all hooked it up and hit the starter. fwiw I have a jump pack about the size of your portable single-use one that I bought from Wal-Mart several years ago. I've used it to jump my Miata and my brother's Altima several times, and even made an unsuccessful attempt on the 6.0 powerstroke with dual batteries once and it still chooches. I love the little fuckin' thing and it's so little I can always have it with me.

    Lee ByrdLee Byrd6 days ago
  • Using a li-ion battery pack that doesn't have enough power to jump start the battery. then adding in a makita battery with no protecting device to and could have a caused a catastrophic mess. you would have just been better off unbolting the battery and telling costco to give you a new one. the costco li-ion pack works just fine on sedans.

  • you're supposed to disconnect the dingus end and the cables then reconnect the dingus then postive then the negative. Though with my experience the dingus end on a li-ion jump pack will not jump no matter how charged the battery is if you leave it in your truck in -30 whic his pretty much the only time you'll use it
